Do any of you remember when FM 05' was released , we all signed a petition for Michael Nygreen to create a new scout too for the new game .
Well , a ndew game is nearing release , and i think all of us FM Scout lovers should start another petition .
As Michael Nygreen is not replying neither on his site's ( http://www.nygreen.net ) forums , nor here , i think a petition would be the best way to get his attention .

What about you the Graeme, have you prepared a Save Game editor for the release?

I guess there is a lot of us waiting for you to start producing SG editors again.

No, I'm too busy. I work on EHM (always have) so if I was to do an editor (I keep telling myself I'll do it one day ) it would be for that. In fact I really don't know anything about the FM database format. Or the game for that matter.

You'd better start a petition for Nygreen to release the source code for his FMScout (as it was the case for FMScout 3.2, the one before the last one). Because he's the one who knows all about save game structure.
Then I would like to make a save game editor.

I don't know what the hell you're on about there. Mind Compression have been around for the last 11 years making utilities for the CM and FM series.

There were no 'days' at all. Simply, you didn't know that they existed!

Why would Michael's Scout source help you with a save game editor (apart from a vague similartity in structure between pregame and savegame)? He's not the only one who knows the structure of the save games you know?!

What's the pre-game database got to do with either a save game editor or FMScout? And I doubt anyone's suggesting that only Michael has the answers, but he is the only person I'm aware of who's been willing to share so openly the information he has on save file structure. Of course, I'd be delighted if you can correct me here by pointing me to any other sources, particularly for the 05 or 06 save file structure.
