Following the success of last year's KROL commentary file we want to make another one for FM 2006. The last one had a huge number of lines which included a lot of the classics from Taipan's old file, and a number which were then used in the development for FM 2006.

Over the next few weeks and probably months we'll be putting together a load of new lines from both our own ideas and hopefully what we get from people on various forums. If you've got any ideas or lines you want to see in the new file, put them here.

What we want are variations of anything which exists in the current match commentary - anything from goal celebrations to close misses to teams under pressure etc etc.

To see the full commentary file go to 'Program Files/Sports Interactive/Football Manager/data/match events/events' and open it in notepad.

It would also help a lot if we could find some people to help us test. We'll be getting in touch with the people who helped us last year to see if they can help but in the meantime if anyone else can spare a bit of time to check for spelling mistakes and other problems it'd be much appreciated.

Dungle - I've had some "array out of bounds" errors when doing some changes in the new events. I think I know what caused one of the problems, but is it something you've come across?

Are you aware of any SI health warnings about these events?

I've never got anything out of SI when it comes to stuff like that.

I haven't started editing the events file yet either but if I find anything I'll let you know. :thup:
