No you can't convert it. At least not right now anyway because:
<LI>SI haven't released the database headers for FM06 yet and, although Marc Vaughan promises them earlier than FM05's (a couple of months back), I won't hold him to that since SI have no reason to release them.
<LI>We (the community) don't know the database enough for FM 06 to create the utility you would like.

Wasted? Why did you waste it? You're using it now aren't you? Plus nobody asked you to spend two months keeping your game updated. On top of that, the yearly release of new games from SI is not new. And due to new variables and things in the db, each games db cannot be used in the next version. i.e. FM 2006 is NOT backwards compatible.
