How did the translators translate

did you already get your ltc files to be adapted

i have the same problem with my language (dutch)

i tried to correct something yesterday (only edited one word) and when restarting the game, the language was no longer "dutch" but it said "false" and changed to english

haven't tried with this programmer's notepad yet

Can't stress is enough but you shouldn't touch the ltc files. It's a cache file as Graeme has already said.

Edit the LTF files instead.

I'm looking at the languages folder of my FM 06 installation and staring at me is an ltf file.

i know there was one english ltf in one of the betas or the gold demo, but not of other languages, which this thread is about
i.e. portuguese, dutch,...

The LTF files are no longer being distributed with the game, only the LTC files which you cannot edit in any way.

We've had to make this change because people were translating the game into languages we don't support, and then they were selling copies of the game in these languages.

So do SI have any plans for user customisation of languages or is that never going to happen again?

can we send translation errors to anyone for maybe a next patch ?
if so to whom ?

for example in Dutch, it says "Overview" where it should be "Home" next to a team's home kit
