| Nice smart-ass response there. If you think for a moment that he's trying to edit the Portuguese language files, it might be reasonable to assume that English isn't his native language.
Reasonable isn't really your forte though, is it?

No. Being reasonable is however! :p
As I said, bring it up with the problem with the translators. Editing it yourself is all well and good but the translators could get the revised corrected file into a future patch.

LTC files are language cache files. You can't edit those. It's best to pass the translation errors onto the translators (email translation_NO_SPAM@sigames.com (remove the nospam part).

You could be less agressive.
When you said : Quote:

| I did answer : "if your could perfectly read you'll known that I was talking about FM 2006 language files, as I say in my first post and in «Thanks, but when i open portuguese.ltc with Notepad it's like that :»
But, next time i will speak in french or portuguese... |

| I have allready posted some errors in a topic in this forum; should we send those to the translators, or they regularly visit the forum?
Translation to portuguese should really be revised, as it is full of errors; when I mean full, I am talking serious; last year it was worse, but still it is not helping the kids learning their own language... Just for you to understand what I am talking about, last year I ended playing with the language in english, and this year I am thinking about using spanish. Think of this for some patch work, please.

Well, I ended up playing the game in english too. Except I think that we, as portuguese, should be a bit more active (sending these kind of notes to the official translator) than reactive (bringing it up to the forums only).
I guess it must be hard translating a bunch of sentences than can later be mixed to form a bigger one, thus removing context and making it look od.

What kind of profissional is a guy that didn't test his work ?
We all know that Chieira isn't objective.

If you take up your complaints about quality issues with SI, then there's nothing much more to do except:

Get FM 2006

Use the existing Portuguese langauge files as a base to write a new, improved language file

Send the revised language file to other Portuguese speaking players (to get their opinion and to weed out any errors you may have missed)

Submit the file to SI as a replacement language file for possible inclusion in a future patch at the email address Graeme gave above (translation_NO_SPAM_HERE_BOYO_@sigames.com - remove caps and underscores)
I'm only suggesting that you do it this way because, if you feel the existing translator isn't doing his job and you feel that the game simply isn't playable, then this would be seen as a 'last resort'.
Good luck anyway.

I said Chieira isn't objective cause is favorite team, Académica, is always good and fighting for an eurocup place in the game when in reality it's fighting agaisnst relegation.
