In my honest opinion i think that if Thierry was to leave for Italy or Spain, it would be a great thing for Arsenal. Firstly the money you expect would be good and will aid in future signings. However there is a player at the club who is the same if not better than henry was at his age. Aliadiere is the man who can step in and fire a 30 goal season. If henry goes i can see this guy flourishing and possibly becoming the next Romario. Hes young and pacey and knows where the goal is, with a little more practice i'm confident he can find it as well.
Got to disagree. Firstly Arsenal cannot afford to loose another big, experienced player like Henry. As for Aliadiere he is too easily dispossesed. Yes he can run rings around crap defenders (as we saw in the Carling Cup tie against Liverpool) but I don't think he will ever be able to compete at a high level. At 24 (I think) he is not going to improve a great deal more. He is not an Arsenal class player.
