Anyone had the guts to try "I want a performance like this every week" option in team talks.

If so, any feed back on results?

For the rare opportunity they get all nines and tens then i will.

I did this once after winning 7-0, but the players felt I treated them unfairly

Tried it once after a big win and got almost universal unhappiness because I hadnt praised them, so never again!

Oops. I use this when I win a big one on the road. Might not be such a good idea.

I only use it if my team have been on a bad run, and suddenly get a convincing win, otherwise the players take it as an insult.

Yeah- perhaps this is the way to use it as a reward for breaking a bad run, rather than a misguided praise.

i use it without them getting angry when we win and not play exceptionally. ie. 7's and 8's

Never used that option in all my time with FM06/07.

I think its because it suggests that they dont try hard every week
