Anyway I've been using this tactic for quite a while with the mighty St Albans and it's got me to league 1 so hopefully it'll be good for other teams too, please let me know.
It's a very defensive 433 if thats at all possible and the only things I have changed whilst using this tactic are the positions of the 2 outside forwards.
I'll either have them in AMR/AML positions with Farrows or 45 degree farrows.
Then other games I'll play them in FR/FL positions with barrows or sarrows.
Then in other games I'll have them in FC positions next to the central striker with sarrows or 45 degree barrows.
Basically just swapping between all the different forward positions I've mentioned and keeping the AI on it's toes.
I select my two outside midfielders as the playmakers and thats about it.
I have the team mentality set to normal when I start a match then if I'm not getting too many chances I change it to all out attack, likewise if I score a couple I change it to Ultra Defensive.
It's certainly not pretty football but so far for me it's working wonders and even though it is an extremely defensive tactic I'm scoring more goals than any other tactic I've tried !!! Fantastic Shots on Target percentages.
I'm also using this tactic with my Nigeria team and I came 4th in the Olympic Games beating Brazil U23's 5-1 along the way, not bad considering that I only had 5 contracted players in the squad and I've just beaten Ivory Coast in a World Cup qualifier 5-2 woohooo !!!
