I know it's a bad idea, but my team can't find a W. We get loads of 1-1 draws. Rarely blow anyone out, never blown out. We just can't get over the hump, especially the strikers. Here's my squad:
I'm playing Croat's 4-4-2 55K Tactic. It's my third season in the tactic. In 2009/2010 we scored 60 goals (let in 35). Last year, we scored 70 (let in 48) goals finished 4th and got into the Champions League. This year, at 18 games we've scored 30 and conceded 20.
Knowing that it's bad business to introduce a new tactic, I've made some tweaks.
Mentality was 8; moved it up to 13
Creative Freedon was 7; Moved it back to 5
Tempo was flat at 10; Moved it up to 14
Passing was flat at 10; Moved it back to 6
Kept width wide
Closing down was at 7; moved it up to 14
Defenders were back at 7, so I moved them up to 14.
All in all, figuring the CPU had figured me out, I made my squad more attacking and with a quicker pace. But I seem to have left the goals behind.
Have I over-corrected with my tweaks?
My team has loads of talent; should I increase creative freedom?
I have some very talented AMCs - should I just punt on this tactic and grab a new one that lets them shine?
Or am I just overthinking this and need to go back to what worked?

Trying to resist changing my tactic mid-season Post #2
Which tactic is that, because I believe that Croat made a 4-2-3-1 for FM2k8?
Also.. don't change anything, there is seriously no reason to do so if it worked for you before. Maybe you're just rotating too much (I see you're using 4 different players in ST spot for example)?

Trying to resist changing my tactic mid-season Post #3
I keep my rotations pretty tight. Podolski and Reginaldo start, with Martins as a super sub (and starting if someone's tired). I rotate my wingers a little, but generally go with Babel on the left and Barnes on the right.
