Ok. I am using a new tactic and I have been advised it requires defenders with pace to make it work correctly.
So I have Anton Ferdinand, Curtis Davies, Danny Gabbidon and Matthew Upson. I still seem to conceed alot of goals!
So I ask, who are the best pacey defenders in the game.
I am about to finish 5th in the league with West Ham so I think once ive had a clear out I may have a few quid to splash so money is not much of an issue.
also dont think that pace makes a good defender. its more important for them to have good positioning and anticipation as they can cut out the danger immediatly
god knows why i can't remember his name, but he played for zaragoza in 06/07 and has just moved to barcelona, not that great in the air though, also ledley king and rio ferdinand spring to mind.
