Default Building Up Everton 1st Season

I am starting a new game as the not so mighty Everton as a challenge but I think they need 3 places reinforcing. My current setup with the gaps in place is as follows:-

----------??????---------Johnson-------------
---------------------------------------------
??????----??????---------Cahill--------Arteta
---------------------------------------------
Neville-----Yobo---------Lescott------Hibbert
---------------------------------------------
-----------------Howard----------------------

Any suggestions to fill these gaps from experience with the blues? I'm on patch 7.02 and Everton have £1.5m

-------Beattie/Vaughan-------Johnson---------
---------------------------------------------
??????----Neville---------Cahill--------Arteta
---------------------------------------------
Valente-----Yobo---------Lescott------Hibbert
---------------------------------------------
-----------------Howard----------------------

that would be my advice. Then go no to Loan out:
An AMLC/MLC and an ST

Remember you have naysmith and Pistone in the reserves if it comes to it! Carsley plays pretty welland Stubbs is good for a season or two. If you can raise a bit more then get Igor Tudor for 2.5-3.5m

Cheers Mikey-T, bluenose and toffedane.

I tried signing delgado for up front with Johnson but the wage budget for everton at the start is pennies so I couldn't get him to come. Just like real life.

Was thinking about de jong for midfield as I use thew left central midfield position for defensive midfielders.

Do you think the board would give me more wage budget if I asked?

----------------Johnson-------------

---Arteta---Neville--Fernandes-----Van Der Meyde
---------------------------------------------
Valente-------Yobo---------Lescott------Hibbert

Try and sign Manuel Fernandes on a permanent basis as he is at the club on loan at the start of the game, if u need to play 4-4-2 then put Cahill up along side AJ, or play Big Vic and Aj up front, Cahill in the middle and push Phil Nev to left back dropping valente. This works i started as Everton and one the league 5 times in a row, gradually you will get more money and better players and could get big bucks for Yobo, Cahill and Arteta, they got me a collective £78m

If you can get him Bianchi would be a good bet for a partner for Johnson - set Bianchi as TM f*** me that would be a good partnership.
