I'm Man City in Season 3, November. I've got a pretty much invincible squad, unbeaten in my last 14 (won 13, drew 1).

What I want to do is have 2 teams for next year, 1 team of english players who will play league matches, and the other team of foreigners playing in europe and cups.

I've got enough foreigners for the second team but I want to buy English players. I only have 2 English players who can play competitive football, so... I need help in knowing who to buy:

Okay, now remember I'm gonna have this team for season 4, so I don't really want to buy any players over 27 years old.

I have £117M atm, but I'm sure I can get quite a bit more by selling off players.

Please post a team, with a possible price-tag per player.

Craig Gordon - Scottish, not English :/
Ashley Cole? (DL) - I'll try unsettle him since Chelsea want summit like 55M
Hobbs - I'll buy him, but not good enough for 1st team yet (9 acc, 9 pace)
Carrick - Man Utd want 84M + Sakho for him LOL
Lennon - Portsmouth want 15M (they paid 30M for him). Definately gonna buy him, will try to get him cheaper though

So I'll def buy Lennon, and I'll buy the others if it's a reasonable price. Cheers mate

defoe and johnson are immense in my everton team. defoe costs around 8.5 mill. lennon is a great buy.
