I prefer Walcott over Bentley, since my wingers need pace.

Cole is one of the very few quality full-backs. Both a solid defender, and great with assisting attacks. Though I forgot about Baines!

My opinion taking into account who you are, age of players and my experience of the game...

GK - Preston Edwards (Englands No.1 in season 4 of my game)

DR - Danny Simpson
DL - Leighton Baines (awesome full back)
DC - Micah Richards
DC - Joleon Lescott (amazing in my Everton game)

MR - Aaron Lennon
ML - Ashley Young
MC - Fabrice Muamba (if you want defensive)
MC - Michael Johnson/ David Bentley (re-trained he makes an awesome AMC)

SC - Billy Sharp
SC - James Vaughan/Theo Walcott

Other players I would consider in and around the squad are Joe Mattock, Jack Rodwell (think his PA is random), Henri Lansbury, Rhys Murphy, Jose Baxter, Victor Anichebe, Lee Cattermole, Gary Cahill and Ryan Taylor all of whom I have seen become excellent players and england regulars.

Just my opinion!

daniel sturridge is class in this game but you should have him still unless you sold him id highly
recommend steven taylor he is amazing whatever team he plays for also have a look at whose in the england squads currently there might be a couple of suprises in there etc.

I'll put in a word for Steven Taylor too:11/12 season and Newcastle are top as of December. With a total of 7 goals conceded and an aging Shay Given in goal. Guess who are the defense? Milan Stepanov(not bad)and Steven Taylor. recently got a call-up to England line-up. One for the future.

I've made Man City a hige club. Came 2nd 2 seasons in a row, got to CL QF last year, won FA Cup both years.

I was given favourites to win the CL this season. Won all my group stage matches (with my 2nd team). I'm unbeaten in 22 matches.

I'm not tying to show-off btw - just saying that I'm able to buy big players - Fabregas, Ronaldo, Silva are all interested in coming to Man City.

Hargreaves and Carrick can both play DM if you want but Hargreaves is much better imho. I would push Richards to RB since Simpson doesn't really cut it. Downing is a good ML as well if you can get him so you can play Lennon as MR or use Giles Barnes and Walcott. Defoe, Crouch, Owen or any of the youngsters should be able to play upfront but Rooney is still the best. He can't play alone though so you need to pair him with someone. Joe Cole of course or SW Philips can also go onto the wings.

I find Downing immensely overrated, overpriced and just not worth it. He might be a good young talent, but i just don't find him worth all the moolah.
