I remember for FM2006 there was a BETA demo released before the gold demo. And then when the game was actually released, I cannot remember too many bugs, certainly not as many as this year. But there was a patch released the day after (or a couple of days after) the game was released if I remember correctly.
Now I was wondering, why was there not a BETA demo released for 2007 or 2008? Surely by releasing a BETA demo and making it available for public download increases the chances of bugs being found because more people are playing it?
This way a lot of bugs could be found before the gold demo is released and then they will be fixed by the time the full game is released. Or if they're not we won't have to wait as long for a patch.
Will a BETA demo release be considered for future releases of Football Manager?
