Default Anyone here use a Macbook Pro for playing FM?

Just wondering because I'm considering getting one. The labtop I play FM on is getting on a bit now, I can only play about 6 league, in my current game I have England to the 2nd division, 2 Sanish and 2 Italian leagues. Even this gets very slow after a few seasons.

I'm considering getting a Macbook Pro 2.4GHz dual-core, 2 Gb Ram, 7200rpm hard drive. Does anyone have a similar system and how does FM play on it in terms of speed and the number of leagues playable. I'd like to play with most of the top European leagues and a couple from the other continents.

I have the Macbook Pro you are looking to get except i had an extra 2 Gb Ram added (at no extra cost ... got love it when your brother in-law works for apple ) .. and its brilliant. Assuming you've used Mac before, theres a few differences with Leapord, but ultimatly its a greater machine and i highly advise getting it. The Game plays exreemly well on the machine.!

Cool. I'm seriously considering getting one but they are a bit expensive. I'd like to get the extra 2Gb Ram but it's another 670Eur on the apple site. I was thinking of just getting the 2Gb version and adding another 2 GB later for half that price.

Anyway - how well does the game play? How many leagues are you running and about how long does it take to go through a season?
