i was sorting out how to put the fm soundpack on
and when i started the game it loaded up fine then i pressesed continue and a an error came up saying something about the match events folder
can some one plzzz plzzz hellp me out cuz ilkl miss footy manager for my life

Can you not just remove the sound pack from "add/remove".

If not make a back up of your save game and reload FM.

i cant even creat a new game it come up with summin about thematch folder again

Did you make a back up of the original sound files when you copied over the 'new' sound files. If so just remove the new sound files and copy/move the original sound files back.

Worst case scenario, is to re-install.

no i didnt make a bck up for original sound files
and now i got a different proble which something keeps coming up about crash dumps

okay people ive just tried to start a new game and an error has come up saying match event handle match event handler cannot read config
can someone tell what to do cheers

Read what was advised earlier:

go to your my documents folder and make a copy of the games folder inside sports interactive /fm2008.

Uninstall the game completely. Re-install the game.

Copy the games folder to my docs/sports intereactive/fm2008


The game will be re-installed and you will have your save games still.

Next time, read the readme.txt properly and backup the folder it tells you to backup when installing the sound pack.

In future, read the readme.txt. Its there for a reason

lee ive totally got rid of da soundpack and i dont have any saves game so were do i put the copied games folder to
