Default Multicore Support for FM2009

Where can we lobby SI to make FM2009 fully multithreaded and scalable.
Nearly all PC/Macs have multicore CPU's and FM needs to be programmed to be fully scalable and multithreaded so that those of us with dualcore quadcore and Dual Quadcore machines get the most out of FM.
At the moment FM doesnt make use of a second or third or n'th core on the processor in a machine and this is a seriously big flaw in the game. Thats an awful lot of processing power not being put to use whilst im sat waiting twiddling my thumbs waiting for the game to process.
The future of PC's looks multiprocessor and its about time FM was too.

Imagine the speed increase having different countries leagues dedicated to different cores on a CPU or different CPU's on a home network.

If there is only one change made for FM2009 it should be this, as it would allow the majority of gamers to run virtually all the leagues at once with grinding the game to a halt.....

Bring on Multithreaded Football Manager

My work has a render farm of 300 opteron processors just waiting to be dedicated to playing FM....

fm makes use of as many cores as you have.

my quad core is faster than my old duel core at running fm so it must be the case

FM will use multiple threads and therefore utilise multi-core or hyper-threaded processors if available when it needs to (as many it as it can when necessary, which isn't always). Make sure "Threading" is on in the preferences, and you should be set to utilise the processor in full when the game wants.

You'll struggle to utilise that render farm though, as FM doesn't support distributed processing
