I also preffer dots instead of totaly flawed and repeating 3D match engine. at least for some 5-10 years yet. 2D ME still hasn't reached it's potential and I hope it will before we move to 3D.

The only time i actually watch the game in 2d is for my pre season friendlies or if i overhaul my tactics. I will watch a couple of games then revert back to commentary.

If i have a big game ie Johnstones Paint Trophy final :p then maybe i will watch.

I think it dates back to when we didnt have the luxury of 2d and all that good stuff.
