Would have worked when my son was a baby. I remember watching a Stanley Cup playoff game on a Saturday night that went into overtime; I stayed up until the end of the first OT, then went to bed, knowing 2:00 would come around all too quickly. When he woke up, I brought him downstairs, changed him, and sat down in front of the TV to feed him, figuring I'd find out how the game came out. When I turned it on, the FOURTH 20 minute overtime period had just started, so I got to see the winning goal.
But the most sleepless nights I ever had were when my daughter was teething. I never did see a child suffer through teething more than she did, and I never could have played FM (or anything else) then - I would walk in a circle through our living room, kitchen and dining room and back to the living room, around and around, until the motion of the walking soothed her back to sleep.
Makes my back hurt just thinking about it.
