I agree that it would be very boring to have to watch your players train.
It gets old just managing friendlies in a long term game.

Plus what would they show and what would you see them doing?

The only person who would get anything out of this feature would be someone who takes control of both the U18s and reserves and i dont know anyone who does that.

A full-time squad trains pretty much every day. If you had to watch that, it would take forever to complete a week, let alone a season. I could imagine that training sessions would require even more processing than matches.

I'd like to add my approval for an improvement to training, especially to reports. That would really improve the game. But watching the place train is just not necessary, and would be too time-consuming. And saying everyone would agree with the idea was always going to be the kiss of death!

Fixed it.

There's so much wrong with the idea that it's hard to know where to start.

- Too time consuming;
- Too repetitive;
- Too inconclusive (how do we know player x has trained well in a discipline? He's just a little circle chasing a smaller circle);
- Too much effort on SI's behalf (they would have to code something akin to a second match engine to sit alongside the current training module which calculates the attribute changes); which leads to
- Too many opportunities to create new bugs.

Sorry, but there are many, many ways to improve the game and/or the training in FM but this isn't one imo.

3d graphical representation is undoubtedly the future of football management gaming.

Whether SI embraces this is up to them, but they should at least consider it.

We are at that stage in graphics development that to do it well would take far, far too long to develop. They could not do it adequately in the time scale needed. We would get repitition and we would get bored very, very quickly.

BUT it is something that eventually happen in the genre, but possibly on the consoles where there are more ambitious developers working.

the ability to watch my players train?

i can't see the point as how would you interact with the training sessioN? how would the training session show itself? would it look like a pro evo style video of players running round cones and doing burpees in the corner?

i dont see how it could be implimented
