Its look good Andy but i have a feeling that any logos that are larger than the ones you are using shall not fit the screen at all.
For instance the alternative larger logos made by fm fan shall not fit this.

They will fit, they will just overlap like the current ones do by the looks of it.

And why compromise the style of a skin and reduce design options to support logo's designed for the metallic type skins?

Because Radestock a lot of people use these type logos etc and it gets annoyin when you use a skin that looks wrong when you use them because they dont fit. It just makes you end up changing the skin and not using it again.

Well Mojomorg I'm sure a lot of people use non-metallic type skins and when they use the large logos that look wrong and don't fit they end up getting rid of the logos and not using them again because the skin is more important to them.

I think if you find a skin you like then you are more likely to stick with that rather than change it because some new logo's didn't fit. I actually think that 3rd party logos should try to support skins rather than the other way round. It is the logo that is moving the goalpost and its a bad thing for skins if people are expecting them to support it because it limits what skinners can do.
