I used the editor to add myself to the Middlesbrough squad, and i've noticed that my contract expires in 2006, but i set it to 2010.

I keep offering a new contracy and each time its rejected.

Anyone know how i can sort this out?

There is a bug in the game you could use to your advantage, offer your player 60% of current wages, 120Million Manager/Job release clause and make him a key player and he'll happily sign.

You can offer contract after contract untill his wages are prectically nil.

but im now in january and the player is now negotiating contracts with me even thoguh he doesnt want to sign, so far ive tried to up his contract up from 22k it is now to 90, and still nothing, so im hoping to pursuade the board to offer me more for wages
