It's not to compete, SEGA and SI are running two websites, hopefully they'll be something on there that is worth checking out.

Oops. Sorry. The basic outline of it was that some affiliates (myself included) got a bit annoyed with the site really and thought that it was trying to compete with the community in terms of content and the ability to advertise on the forums (which we can't do).

In the end, my fears were allayed by Marc Duffy. So all's well!
