For example, I changed the name to champions league in the editor but the shortname (3 character) field won´t change when I reload the game. I should see the difference under coefficients/nation but the old shortname (ECC) is still there!!
And yes, I changed the correct cup.
Please help ?

Competition names (eg European Champions Cup/UEFA Champions League) are held in the language database. This database is referred to when the game is loaded, so changes to it will also be reflected in saved games as well as in new games. Other data, including the three-letter identifier, are held in the main server database which is only referred to when a new game is being created, therefore such changes require a new game.
