Hi everyone

I've been doing some editing and i added some Minimum release fee to some players like G barry for 10mil but when i play the game theres no clause there. I'm on the new patch.
Can't work out why any ideas??

Um, I don't think the minimum release clause can apply in England. Or at least you don't hear of clubs invoking it. It's all the rage however in Spain and Italy.

I may be wrong though!

I've never heard of minimum release fee clauses happening in England, well at least the game didn't crash !

Yeah thats true Dan just that in FM2005 it still worked if you put one in thats why i was asking the question on why it didn't work. Wierd it worked in the 2005 version.
I thought by inserting one with the editor it would put one in .

What I found out is, that the clauses are hidden sometimes.
For example Tuncay at game start has a 10 Mil. clause, which doesn't show on the player sheet.
Once you do the transfer you get a msg that he had a release clause, weird actually as his release clause is no secret IRL, bug or feature?

you can see the minimun fee release clause at all times, you just have to look at the players contract. If you bid for a player, it will not display the minimum fee inthe bid window, you have to do your research first then bid. Its to make the game a little more lifelike, because a manager would have to research before finding out a player has a minimum fee.

It does happen in england, If you remember, when Damien Duff moved to chelsea from blackburn, he had a clause which chelsea had to work out by bidding.

it can, Damien Duff when he moved from Blackburn to chelsea, he had a clause written into his contract.

Yep that seems to be the case i can't see any minimun fee release clause even when i put a bid in so i set one up with the editor and wrote it down and my bid was accepted.
Isn't there anyway to see the minimun fee release clause at all?
Seems a little strange to me you can't see them.

Leeturner how have you got it set up so you can see them??What version you on 6.0 or 6.1 ??

look in the player's contract tab BEFORE you bid

Yeah i've done that and it says nothing about a clause??

Has contract details nothing is there
and then transfer detials theres nothing in there either.

I've checked all 3 tabs down the side profile, personal ,transfer

Yet it did when i edited the fm 2005 last year and put some minimun fee release clause in some players?
