Ok, the problem i have is, i have replaced National Conference side Crawley with my own team, full of my mates and stuff! I did this on 2005 and everything ran smoothly! However when i loaded up the game after editing it wouldn't let me compete in the F.A Cup... does anyone know why this is?

My basic problem: after editing team, the team isn't allowed to compete in f.a cup or league cup, what do i change on editor to allow me to do this?

erm, how did u get the team into the league ?

i would suggest using an EDT file and just swapping your team with a club already in the conference south.

i went onto the editor and changed Crawley in 'Horsehay' (my team) a straight swap!

Well, not sure but maybe your clubs reputation is too little?

nope, my reputation is 2000 out of 10,000

a lot higher than most non-league clubs and they are still in the fa cup!

I was so intrigued by this problem that I did something I've never done before. I looked up the code instead of guessing .

I think the reason that your team isn't being entered into the FA Cup is that they don't have a "year founded" set. Or it it set to be 2005, 2004 or 2003. The rules state that a team cannot enter the FA Cup unless it has been in existance for more than 2 years. I bet you didn't know that. I didn't. Stupid rules.

it to work I want to replace A Conference north sisde with FC United but no luck as yet
