I would like an editor that works for 2006 version the one with the game does not load on my computer and the reason i want to use it is to re-name evenwood town to spennymoor united and swap them with a ramdom conf north side so i can manage my favorate team...
surely somebody has an answer for me to so i can manage my team...(its no fun if i dont)

First you do is to open the notepad.

Then you must first rename the club and this how you do that
First "NAME_CHANGE" ID on old club "NEW NAME" (Spennymoor United) ""

Then u use the command ""SWAP_TEAMS" "Spennymoor United" "Conference North Team"

Save file as anything you like and put it in the root of the data/db/ folder .. start new game, now they should be.

I tried but new notebook file?
i tried in the init.cfg file but with no luck the team id is 717 so is it possible you could write the re-name for me? and tell me where to save it at?

What exactly is wrong with your editor? Have you patched? Does it crash? Have you little physical memory?

Since i have downloaded the 6.1 patch my editor keeps crashing. Didn't have this problem when i didn't have the patch.

I've never had a problem with it. If you feel that you would benefit from using the old editor why not un-install and re-install without the patch?
