Update is Available in Installation Format...

With this installation file, it will install the weegie update as a second database, allowing you to use the db you have currently installed at the default db location and the weegie database when ever you like without having to swap files around... simply run FM2006 shortcut for the db in the default location, or FM WeeGiE update shortcut for the Weegie db.

so it will not overwrite your current database

To Install the Update

Simply extract all of the contents of the rar file somewhere, then run the setup.exe file. It will do the rest for you!

It will have to be installed for each "user" (each log-on profile in Windows) due to the way 2nd DB locations work.

If you already have an older update, I suggest that you un-install that first before installing a newer one. You can uninstall it via the add/remove programs option in the control panel.

Note: Partitions and Alternative Installation Paths

If FM is installed on a hard drive other than C, then you will need to change the drive to which the newly created shortcut goes to.

On the desktop, right click the shortcut "FM WeeGiE Update". You will see a space called "Target". At the start of the entered data, change the drive letter from C to the drive it is installed on.

Should FM be installed in a non-default directory then change the directory. DO NOT DELETE THE PARAMETERS AT THE END... these are required to load the FM WeeGiE database.

is anyone else having any problems loading this patch up i click the setup.exe shortcut and it does not work,so i cut and paste the db file and replace the old one with the new one and try to load up a game and it say "could not load database" any help appreciated.
