Eirik Bakke's departure from Leeds has been confirmed by a transfer deadline day switch to Brann.
The Norway international has returned to his homeland on a free transfer after agreeing a termination package with the West Yorkshire club.
With Bakke's wages thought to have been one of the legacies of Leeds' UEFA Champions League-chasing era, the club were keen to offload a player they signed in May 1999.
Aston Villa took the 29-year-old on loan last season, but a move to Villa Park failed to materialise.
Bakke's exit completes a busy day of dealing at Elland Road as Blackburn midfielder Jonathon Douglas and Charlton goalkeeper Stephan Anderson arrived at the club, while Kevin Blackwell also extended the loan of Fulham's Tony Warner.

Sorry guys.
