Hi all, quite new to big editing jobs, and I was considering making a database which requires certain players moving to a club below their reputation and, crucially, staying there.
One idea I had was to give a player a future transfer in 2040 and increasing their contract until 2040. With a future tranfer, they can't move before than, and a long, expensive contract would keep the player there and make mutual termination impossible.
Would this work? The players would probably be unhappy and would cause all sorts of financial hell if the player couldn't pay for himself by lifting his small club up, but that's the point of the database, seeing what happens.
So would my idea stop players from moving altogether?
The future transfer idea should work. When I want to keep a player at a small club i give them a loan there of about twenty years and then a future transfer on a ten year contract at the end of it.
