I am pretty successful at scoring goals... pretty bad keeping them out. Anyway about tactics...

Firstly what do the lines do? I have been playing with this game since FM06 and still don't get what the arrowed lines do.

Secondly Target man? Is that simply a "smash the ball to this guy when he has a yard of space"? or is it something more complicated than that?

Thirdly the defensive line. If you push up your defense then they will be closer to midfield, is this a viable way to try to dominate midfield or does it just leave you terribly defenseless at the back?

Lastly is there anyway to increase my strikers chances of hitting the damn target. I play in the lower league and while my team isn't short of goals my overal shots to shots on target is usually something like 16:3. This is with slower tempo to generate better opportunities... Any ideas?
