Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Great tactic

Hi everyone.

1. here is a BETA VERSION of my tactic and it will need some improvements.

2. For the love of God, don't tell me " it's too easy to win all your games with chelsea ". I already know that, but as i said before, it is a test.

3. decription of the tactic :
As my english isn't great, i'll be short ^^ : this is a 4312 with farrows on wingers and WB's . here is a screen :

teams instructions :

then here are my results :

What you have to know :

I use a Target Man (Klose), passing on his head.
this is the key player of the tactic. if you don't have a Klose-type player, try to play with pass on the run of your striker (he'll have to be fast).

You'll find the tactic there:
http://fmdownloads.net/index.php?action=downloadfile&fi...y=FM%202007/Tactics&

Report me back for improvements.

regards, Silverblade.

PS : I will edit my post later if needed.

Then it's not a good test.
It's like saying..Hey, I'm the general of the American army... I have the best force and I cover all areas perfectly... Let's try this approach in order to beat all the other armies. It's not a proper test if you have top players. You need to have either really bad or average players in order to test a tactic.

I bet that if I had used a 5-0-5 tactic with no ALL instructions set on MAX with Chelsea I'd win the league or at least finish above 5th.

i couldnt agree more. it is no use testing a tactic with the big teams. if u get a tactict to work with farnborough, then it will work with chelsea.

currently exp. my tactic with burnley and its going farely well, but i bet it would win the league with chelsea

in fact i disagree with you. I tried many tactics for lower league teams on this forum, and it didn't worked at all with chelsea, man utd or inter milan. I like playin' with big teams, and i really don't understand why everybody here are totally "against" playin' with big teams .

for example, i tried underdog, or cleon's tactic, but i lost 4 in 5 games with inter. i don't say it's not workin' with exeter or farnborough . i 'll try the tactic with a lower league team.

thanks for the feedbacks.

Nobody (unless they're quite anal) is against anyone playing with any team they like. What sticks in the craw is that people claim they have made a good tactic but have only tested it with larger teams.

You need to test it with a smaller club, a medium sized club and some inbetween. If you've taken it with Chelsea, let's see how it works with a medium club (Derby?), a small club (Stafford?) and something inbetween (insert club here).

He's used a big team so what, he bought the game he can choose whoever he wants. No need for the forum police to come out of the woodwork at every available chance to have a pop is there? How about some of you contribute stuff to the forum instead of contributing only having a pop at people?

He used great in the title big deal, chances are it probably was great for him.

Totally agree. His very second sentence he made concessions about the team he was using. Therefore any critisism is unwarranted.

Cleon

SMSL, you take every chance you get in this forum to slate someone, I never post in here but have a quick glance sometimes, and in some of the threads I have read you give crap responses like this one. WP

Why would any tactic have to be perfect to fit all sorts of teams? How about a tactic that takes the best out of world-class players? A tactic for which you simply need world-class players? Will you then still slate someone for not testing it with a small team?

The topicstarter is not pretending this to be a tactic for all levels, so dont pretend it yourself..
