It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Lost 2-1 both goals were scored from failed corner clearances . If there was any consolation was that we had high ratings.

May I add that im still using 6 players from the original Bristol City squad (2 defenders, gk, mc & fc). My wage budget is 48k(im allowed 62k) and my media prediction for the season is 16th so I do have quiet a poor side.
How many people do you bring back for set pieces? I only ever bring 5 back, and I find the opposition only send the same number up. The more players you keep upfield, the more players they keep back.

Its also best to no bring your DMC back to defend, the reason I say this is because if you do and the ball is cleared, there is noone in the DMC/MC position to retrive the ball and you just give possession back. Same can be said for wingers too

I got sick of the ball being cleared and coming straight back, so now I avoid that problem 75% of the time </BLOCKQUOTE>

Sorry to be a numb nut but having the same sort of problems with my tactics. when you leave your wingers and dm forward do you select stay forward or default

Hey, nonleague, great tactic, man... i was trying with a bad team, in third portuguese division... i start a game, and lost all the first five games. Than, i delete the saved game and started a new one, with the same bad team, but with your tactic...

Well, take a look:

Pretty good, so far! Great defence, and all my centerbacks and the fullbacks are crappy!

Great job so far!

Rashidi1 or nonleague: Is your (Rashidi's) 433 uploaded anywhere, or just the team and player settings for it?

I'd like to see how you set up your tactic, as I'm struggling a bit with it atm.

I might be to hung up on a "pretty" game to succeed, but hey, that's what principles are for.

Struggling with any formation and tactic
Well, actually have a _decent_ 433 going now.
I only just downloaded yours to have a look at it, and would like to see Rashidi's as well.

My rl club plays an attacking 4-3-3 (that's where Sollied mentioned a bit higher on the page, learnt his trade), so I have a weakness for it.

Just like to say that I am playing with Colchester in the Championship and this tatctic is truly brillaint! Have climbed from 14th with 4-4-2 to fifth and pushing for promotion, unbeaten in 10 games home and away! Delighted!

Yeah, I started using when I slumped to 14th, and yes my away record is better, I have had 1-0 wins in my last 3 away from home, its been a revelation for me! Plus Halford playing out in the FR role has been insperational!
