Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Tactical Evaluation : Learning Process

Alright, so fairly..scratch that, I'm totally new to the match engine in this game. But I do really wanna learn how to implement tactics to its best instead of just using teams like Man Utd where I can just mass world class players and own, that gets kinda dull.

So for starters, I used Sheff Utd, and had a total demolition by Tottenham..lost 4-0. Read a few threads about making tactics, and used specifically this Rule of Two thingy, which obviously I should be doing something wrong.

Anyway, I saved the match, and perhaps you could point out some errors in my formation or team tactics? I watched the whole match but I'm baffled as to why my team lost (in the sense that I cannot narrow down the issue).

So perhaps, you could evaluate the match and point it out to me and perhaps anyway I could remedy these mistakes?

Thanks in advance, cheers.

Here's the match I was referring to :
Sheff Utd - Tottenham

p.s Sorry if this uploading service isn't permitted in the forums, I couldn't think of any other file uploading service to upload my pkm file.

tho first thing that comes to mind, is how u got ure strikers set up, looked like they were getting marked out of game, or that u were trying crosses to head . webber had no joy in this department, maybe changing his tactics a bit, did u have hulse as ure target man? they both had = attempts at heading, so me thinks u havent, maybe try putting hulse as ure target man and webber in and around him using his pace.
4-4-2 against 4-5-1 also appears to favour the 4-5-1. im spurs and have come up against chelsea, both starting with 4-4-2 i take the lead then they switch to 4-5-1 then start to dominate game, maybe have ure wingers on closing down a bit more,1st half u looked weak on the rite side with bromby and gillespie, against the 4-5-1 maybe have ure fb with barrows to stop the crosses coming in from those positions, and maybe have gillespie not so attacking, as ure rite side is weak enuff without having him trying things that dont work

Hey man, thanks. Appreciate anymore of such comments..what sort of tactical info would I need to post up to get a more detailed insight into the match?

And yeah..didn't choose Target Man, heh. Not sure how it works really to be honest.

Alright I'll get the screenshots as soon as I get back home, should be pretty soon.

Before that though, how does this Target Man thing work? And how does having one striker not being put on Target Man complement the other striker with Target Man on?

Team Instructions

Is there an easier way to get screenshots of my player instructions? Or do I have to take 11 individual pictures of each player?

If want to take screenshots then you need to take em individually or you could just type em out
