I have a question, can players get a "Prefered Move" over the years.?
Maybe when you set young kids to 'learn from player' options they will actually get a Prefered Move from the older player?

Gets into opponents area - forward runs
Dives into tackles - hard tackling
Runs with ball down left/right/centre - Run with ball.
Avoids using weaker foot - target for keeping on weaker foot???
Hits free-kick with power - free kick taker?
Plays with back to goal - Hold up ball. | in my opinion, player instructions should not only be given on the basis of ppm but also attributes. for eg, one of my players has shoots from distance as a ppm but long shots of only 12. if i gave him long shots, hed be shooting them all day. i have him on rarely, and he still takes 3-4 every game, scoring once in every 10. if he had say 18 for long shots, by all means id have him on often. but its gotta be a combination of ppm and attributes imo.
I wouldnt give someone who dives into tackles hard tackling, esp if hes aggresive as well
similarly, wouldnt give someone who does not dive into tackled easy because then he would hardly ever make any tackles

Any more ideas? | comes deep to get ball - if a striker, can give a lower mentality than the other striker so he comes deep and links up the play
tries tricks - rwb if high dribbling as well
knocks ball past opponent - rwb if high pace, acceleration and first touch
likes to beat offside trap - forward runs if high pace off the ball and anticipation
plays 1-2s - short passing perhaps? and forward runs?
moves into channels - side arrow on striker?
dictates tempo - defo a candidate for a playmaker if hes got good passing, decisions and creativity as well

| This is exactly what happens actually. If the two players work well together then a PPM is learnt by the player being tutored. Seen it happen, you should try it.

| What do you mean by "players work well together" ?
Is it players who are training the same thing (same training schedule) or is it two players who play the same position in games?

There will often be a "x feels he is a similar player to y", in this case the player's are usually of a similar position and this will pass on a PPM. It may take up to a season or more.
I have tried this with players that do not have this similarity thing and the tutoring had no effect. The player will tell you that he sees no future or something like that.

| Yes, the PPM's that the tutor has will eventually be learned by the youngster who is learning from him [the tutor]. This is nice feature indeed - for example I nominated Rafinha (D/WB R) to tutor some youngster and after a while this youngster had developed several "player preferred moves" like "Tries tricks". That's cool! |
