If you're taking over a good team with distinctive ways of playing eg man u, barca, lyon, chelsea, milan - is the best way to keep that style by looking at the previous managers tactics, such as preffered formation, closing down style and passing style?

It helps, because the players should be used to playing that way. So shouldn't need to adapt too much.

cool man cheers because i applied le guens way to lyon and kicked ass, then with rangers didnt so had to do what all rangers fans are thinking and that worked. With ajax i employed their 70's style and it works wonders, unless i play a hard tackling team then i just get overrun
