Hi all.Im not sure if this has been discussed before but im putting this out to anyone to see if they have experienced the same.
Im MK Dons in 08/09 after being promoted into League 1.The teams are a bit trickier but my squad isnt bad at all with some good loanees coming in (Hobbs,Pekhart,Sturridge).But my tactics just dont seem to work at all,the opposition have so many shots on goal every game.
The last 2 games though ive tried something and to my amazement its worked.Ive been 3-1 down at half time with the opposition having 90% more shots than me on goal and generally dictating play.I played with a 4-2-2-2 formation,but it wasnt working.Then all i did was go to Standard Tactics and use 4-4-2 Attacking.I didnt change any slider,arrow or position at all.And all of a sudden my team play out of their skins!The first game i win 4-3, the next i draw 3-3!Can anyone explain this?Do we need any of these tweaking of tactics or are the standard ones perfectly good as they are??
Is Standard tactics actually the best?
