The inspiration for the name of this comes from that day before Man Utd when Keegan lost his marbles if anyone is wondering...
Anyway, onto the tactic. I've tried to develop a tactic with a solid defensive base but with similar attacking results to what Keegan got in his first managerial stint at Newcastle. Although, at first glance, it doesn't look that balanced, I kept quite a few clean sheets and even on bad days in only concedes 1 or 2 in the Premier League. Of course, the idea is to have scored lots by then!!
The tactic itself consists of:
GK
DR
DC
DC
DL
MC
AMR
AML
FC
FC
FC
There are no individual player instructions, just team instructions. It may need a little bit of tweaking to suit your team but on the whole, if your defence is solid for the league you are in, you shouldn't have too many problems. Please try my tactic and have fun!
PS This tactic can get the best out of even the most mediocre strikers as long as they have pace.
No individual instructions does not sound too good. Will do some testing with spurs, have bought in two striker talents, so i have to many strikers for a 4-4-2. Hopefully this can give them lots of goals, ill try to tweak it with individual instructions and upload that later.
I'll give this a try , i have tried all tactic in this forum but none of them are working for my A.S.Roma , included Croats , 2-6-2 by zagalo , all sucks for roma hehehe .... Thanks alot
Garthnose:
Both full-backs may or may not overlap, it's up to you. See what works best for your team.
The central midfielder can be attacking, but playing a DM there is muchh more effective.
Wingers must have pace and good crossing.
Strikers can be fast but it's not important if they aren't.
