I got Basturk, and that's the best so far.

He scored some vital goals in the Champions League and his value rose to £7,500,000. But although he was good he wasn't great, and by the time he left on another free a few years later his value had shot down due to injuries and a lack of football.

That's my best free signing though.

Libis Arenas. Got signing of the season, averaged a 7.86 and virtually singlehandedly won me the title with Boro, played 27,conceded 15 goals, 14 clean sheets, 8 MoM. Unfortunately that was the best he ever played coz after that season he kept whinging that he was homesick so sold him for 13 million to Manu.
