This all seems pretty interesting... What sort of leagues and/or nations did you all include when beginning the game other than the MLS?

| Aljarov recommends all the CONCACAF nations and Serbia (lots of Serbs playing in Canada, apparently).

I used the editor and stuck Miami FC in because I wanted to play with their "stars". About to start.

i have tried playing in MLS as D.C.United and found it almost impossible to attarct decent foriegn players...however i was able to sign a few good youngsters but as their reputations increased so did their desire to join bigger and better teams, in the end they would'nt agree new contarcts and left...most of them left to play in the lower leagues of spain and england...LEFT ME CONFUSED!

I have only made a couple of changes to the squad.
Signed Nik Besagno (D-DM) in exchange for Nick Rimando (GK)
Signed Altidore from New York in exchange for Jamil Walker and a 4th round draft pick (Transfer not going through till end of December)
Signed U.S international Clint Mathis (AM/FC) in the Waiver Draft as cover for Eskandarian and Moreno
So with my 1st game coming up this is my strongest starting 11, im using a modified 4-4-2 formation.
GK Troy Perkins
DR David Stokes
DL Brandon Prideaux
DC Bobby Boswell
DC Facundo Erpen
MR Josh Gros
ML Freddy Adu
MC Christian Gomez
MC Ben Olsen
ST Jamie Moreno
ST Alecko Eskandarian
S1 Ryan McIntosh
S2 Bryan Namoff
S3 Brian Carroll
S4 Nik Besagno
S5 Mathis Donnet
S6 Clint Mathis
S7 Matt Nickell
I am 20/1 to win the league which suprised me as being a bit big. I think i have a chance but will have a better idea after the first few games.

Playing at the moment with New England.
Had a successful tour of Trinidad & Tobago - winning all 4 games. Then got past Harbour View in the CONCACAF Champions Cup Quarters - with a 9-0 agg.
Played one league game so far beating Chicago Fire 2-1 at home.
My last game was at home against CD Guadalajara in the first leg of the Champions Cup Semi-Final - Drew 0-0(could and should have won!).
I haven't got any new players in as I was very happy with my squad as far as this season is concerned.
My first XI at the moment is as follows(I play with a 5-4-1/3-4-3 formation - with one lone striker, 2 wide support men, 2 midfilders, 2 very attacking full/wing-backs, 2 marking centre-backs and a sweeper):-

TwellmanDempsey Cancela Noonan JosephFranchino John Hernandez Parkhurst Heaps Reis

All XI are very good players in the league. Twellman is always amongst the top scorers with Noonan helping him out. Dempsey and Joseph are 2 of the league's best midfield players. Parkhurst is a rising star in the American game and Reis is a top keeper.
The squad also has other good players including right-sided American international Steve Ralston and welsh box-to-box midfielder Andy Dorman.
I fancy my chances this season.
