Thats a rip off i got him in the 3rd season for £4.5 million if you are willing to pay that much buy Menez instead can play on both wings, also check out Ryan Babel he wanted to leave Liverpool on my game around the 3rd season and is awesome. Then again maybe you want to keep it English but that price is a big time rip off.

Playin my 1st season, end dec ant inter/arsenal made bids for lennons.luckly he went to inter £16mill upfront with add ons its £24mill.

Just got Barnes for replacement, in apr now and hes fantastic. played 14 games,3 goals, 11 asts and 5 MoM got him for £9million though.

Barnes is quality just like Bent is for me. It takes some time to see good results from Bent but the wait is worth it.

No deal, He is good, but £17M is a bit expensive IMO, Try and get him cheaper if you can.

I got him for 2.7M at the end of my third season with Newcastle. He was soon to be out of contract and Derby had little choice. He was unhappy for the whole season and wouldn't sign a new deal with them.

17M is preposterous. You can find someone similar for far less. Aisiati (sp?) from PSV? James Milner? I rotate the two of them and don't notice a huge drop off.

I exchanged Dawson for him in Jan 2008, 17 million way too high imo
