For those who have used the "updated" beta patch. Are there any glaring bugs? (like the finances/closing down ones). Am getting bored waiting for the patch and thinking about just getting going with a game (haven't started one yet, have had the game since release!). Thanks.

By crack on I think he meant get going with the game which he bought in the shops I know there may be a language thing there so just letting you know
rcallini- im the same man bought the game on release day and i'm waiting for the final patch and im still going to stick out because it can't be far away

rcallini, the updated beta patch certainly has a more complete feel to it. I am happy with it so far and I have not noticed any glaring bugs.. yet
Dar2000 - yeah i know. i was just thinking if the 2nd beta patch has fixed most of the important issues then might as well start. glad to see someone else doing the same as me tho.

I had the dubious pleasure of trying FM08 at a friend's. I'm not playing it in its current state.
The game is virtually unplayable if you choose a league that requires player registration (e.g. Spain). You may have better luck focusing on Premier League, as I suspect that this is the only league that has been somewhat tested before the game was released.

You're unable to register A/B squad players. The registration simply disappears and you have to play with "gray" players, as the regular squads are ineligible. It's hopeless.
