Sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum:
I've got a problem : I copied a fm save from an old folder over the new fm save by mistake...and when i saw that it's copying i hit cancel , but when i go the fmsave folder isn't there anymore it has been deleted ,so is there any chance to recover my fmsave?? my system restore is turned off...please help

I've no experience with it, personally, but here's a site that purports to guide you through it: http://www.aumha.org - Recovering Deleted Files. I can't vouch for its efficiency; Google may help you find something else.

For future reference, I strongly recommend using the "Rolling Auto-Save" feature on FM so that you have more than one copy of your save on your hard drive.

Yeah for future reference just use the rolling auto save. I feel sorry for you though, this happened to me once in a really legendary save.

Yeah, I was utterly gutted when I lost one of my best CM01/02 saves.
