Well, since we moved to live together my playing time has decreased a lot (I bought FM08 in it's release day and still havent played even one season :O). It has to do with a lot of things, like our apartment being too small (no place to put my computer anywhere). But I can see light at the end of the tunnel since we are moving to BIGGER apartment in few weeks time

But to the original question: I am willing to decrease time spent on FM but I am not willing to give that up altogether.

Solution. Buy your gf a laptop, find a game that interests her, play both at the same time.

Problem solved

Nice thread fofos...
I am neglecting her because of FM, always have, always will, and she does constantly nag about it...
I would, and probably will, drop the girl, she nags too much
Since I own a Dodge Viper I can get them in bunches

My girlfriend goes to uni so she is very busy, meaning I get a lot of time to myself to do as i want. It works out well, no need to nag about anything or breakup.

Same. My girlfriend is doing a teacher training course which is very demanding. All i have to do is listen to her chat about kids while im playing.
At weekends she also has stuff like x-factor, soap omnibus's and all that stuff to keep her occupied.

When I moved in with my girlfriend I did think it may affect my gaming (not just FM) time so for her birthday I bought her a DS and a couple of puzzle games and she loves it! I have a go on it as well and make sure I never beat her scores and ask her advice on what to do to ensure she continues to feels it's her thing, and therefore doesn't get bored because I've taken over

Worked a treat, she doesn't mind me playing fm, in fact she is always asking how Xabi (her fav player in real life) is getting on and has actually banned me from ever selling him!

A few other little things I've done to make her feel part of it are: in one game added her in as staff and let her choose her job; started a game as Rimini after we came back from a wicked holiday there; played a game as a local Welsh side in the town where her parents have a second home.

Having said all that, at the moment all my gaming time is being taken up by Bioshock on the 360 until the official patch is released, so maybe I'm the only one who would prefer it if the patch is delayed! :p

I've been with my girlfriend for 6 1/2 years.

But I've been plaing CM/FM since 1997!

She doesn't mind me playing too much I guess...

Is it worth another thread asking how many people in this thread have made up their relationships for the sake of this forum?
