I have a new laptop with windows vista ultimate and a 16-9 screen. When i installed FM08 it is very blurry and dull. I go to the preferences section (graphics) and de-select full screen. This takes a bit from the side of the screen and the graphics look great. faces are not stretched or anything, but it says the system cannot support the settings (as in non full screen that I unticked) and puts it back to its blurry full screen setup.

How can I fix this?

I'm not sure how it works with Vista, but in Windows XP the way to sort that out is to change screen resolution to higher values, and then de-select the full screen box.
