In my current game, I'm having quite a few wrong decisions, especially on penalties, disallowed goals due to fouls and offsides.

IMO there is a few too many disallowed goals in the game, but that's not why I've posted.

When you rightly criticise a ref, the FA stay silent, which in reality is correct, but in some instances IRL a referee gets "rested" for the next weekend if he has dropped a particularly bad clanger. I remember a few versions ago, you could complain about a ref and the FA would respond with something like "we will be watching his future games with particular interest"

In addition to this, sometimes a ref comes out and explains his decision. Whilst I understand that this might be too difficult to programme into the game, I would like to see something where the referee get's noticed for his rubbish decision (with the exception of the current media interaction) whether it be by way of further media comments etc?.

Do ref's still get "relegated" from premiership reffing, you could have a media cap at the end of the season with ref's that have been relegated and promoted, it would give a great sense of satisfaction to see the tripe ref who ruined your day away at West Ham, get relegated because of his poor performance over the course of the season.

Some people might think that this is a pap idea, but I would welcome any comments guys

I've just realised that my thread title indicates capitol punishment... which would also be a nice feature

I'd like complaining to have some purpose, but as all the referees appear to act in the exact same way I don't think it would make any difference.

Not sure about punishing the ref, but ceratinly some tuning is required to the interaction between mamagers, refs and the FA for it to haver some meaning- it has little at the moment.

I agree, just like when Chelsea played liverpool earlier this (or last i cant remember) season and kalou jumped over the ball and the ref gave them a penalty. He was banned from the next weeks games.
