I have always been offered the England Jobs in the previous versions but since the "revamp" of international mangagement is it possible to still o both??

You can, yes.

But in the most unrealistic quirk of FM08, McClaren is a great manager.

Frustrating for me in England, as it's 2012 and England have won 2 European Cups and the World Cup.

Yes, best to start as club manager then apply for countries after major tournament failure. I'm Villarreal, and got Cameroon job after poor african nations during 2nd season. Had offers from switzerland and poland at start of my 3rd season but I've stuck with Cameroon!!
