I've got about 10 games left of my 4th season as Cardiff City manager.

I got promoted as Championship winners in my first season, escaped relegation from the prem in the 2nd, qualified for europe in the 3rd.

I'm currently 5th and I've just been knocked out of the UEFA cup in the quarters.

The question is - my contract is up at the end of the season and its looking like they wont offer me a new one.
On the confidence updates, they say I am failing to realise the clubs "long term ambitions" I've since found out that the long term ambition is to win the Championship within 4 seasons, I done it in the 1st but it's not updating !!!

Any ideas ?

If I've got to download something could you please explain the process to me in idiots terms as I'm thick when it comes to computers.

Are you using the 8.0.1 patch?

This happens with the 8.0.1 patch as well. My board wants me to win League 2 when I'm actually in the Championship. Hopefully this will be fixed in 8.0.2

When I load the game, the 1st page says 8.0.0

If I've got to get this 8.0.1 patch could you explain how I do it, as if your talking to a 5 yr old

Save it anywhere, then just open it, it will install itself. Make sure FM isn't running when you do it though.

i had the same porblem with plymouth argyle, got promoted AND THEy started say they werent going to renew...however they did when there was on 2 DAYS LEFT, i was in need of new pants for a bit, but they pulled through!
