What confused me is that the points that the players accrue are cumulative and roll over into future seasons. Lets say a booking was worth 2 points and you got suspended after 20 points and 42 points, (I think that's what it is), then if you got booked 10 times you would be suspended, (20 points) and then if you got booked in the following 10 games that would take you to 40 points, (1 booking short of a suspension). The confusion for me comes that you could then go 10 years without a booking but then 1 booking after 10 years would put you over the 42 point barrier and you would serve a suspension.
When I tried to work it out it seemd that.....
x for points for a yellow card.
y was points for a red card.
z was points for a red card after a 2nd yellow card had been shown.
I'm more than a little anal about things like this and spent quite a while with a pen and a bit of paper trying to work out what values was given for what offence.
The problem is that the game doesn't show you what the running total is, (even though it obviously has the info stored), so it's hard to plan ahead and even harder to work this out.
I searched for info on the N.I. FA website at the time but didn't have any luck.
