Is this happening to anyone else? I have recently taken over Fulham who are in the Championship and I must of played 20 games and won 1, drawn 19 and just can't hold on to win the game. I am leading 4 - 0 in some games and still end up drawing. My team is quite decent and should easily win promotion. Is this drawing games constantly a bug or just my team being at fault? can't decide. If anyone has any ideas as to how to keep a lead please let me know. Thanks

Had the same thing, although not to such an extent as you. First, the pros. At least you're contesting these games and, in most cases i imagine, not conceding many (if any). so focus on how you go forward. Maybe switch to a 4-3-3, or drop a man behind your front two. change something around, but not too much because you're clearly capable of winning these games, you just need a little alteration.

If you take a comfortable lead, try and lower your teams attacking mentality and slow the pace of the game down, it helps me a great deal when trying to hold on to slight leads.

you need to close the game down if your struggling to hold on to wins. slow the game down, keep possession, be solid in the center.

pick an appropreate time to switch to a more defensive stance. remember, the ai will change formation when behind, and also, cut down forward runs for FB/CMs so that you don't leave any gaps. going 4-5-1 counter attack is not a bad idea (either 1 DM or 1 AM).

i went on a few drawing streaks with arsenal, i lost just one game that season and won the league, but i drew so many i nearly finished 3rd. its not a bug, just the ai trying to be clever.

If you're fulham, you should hopefully still have some decent players at the club.

How about playing defensively and direct with counter attacking on? With my Leeds team, this worked wonders!!

Also mix it up in games a bit; I change between 2 STKs to 1 CF and 2 WNGs every niw and again to get some variation.
